2012 Citroen Berlingo 1.6hdi. My van every 3-4days horn goes off for 30seconds then beeps every 2mins, the battery light flashes and when I put the keys in the ignition it says "eco mode". The only way to stop the battery from draining it to disconnect the battery then re-connect it. Then it does it the process again 3-4days later. P1A9C Energy Accumulator Fault. It’s been posted on a few of the Peugeot/Citroen forums but have never seen anyone with a way to solve this issue. The car has a stop/start system which doesn’t work, not a massive problem as I wouldn’t use it anyway but for months and months I get an engine light when turning on the ignition.

Just try removing and refitting using the BSI Reset / Battery Disconnect / Reconnect Procedure. As said, economy mode won't prevent you starting it.
